So originally the knotwork was coloured with a metallic pink gel pen and it looked great but scanned a dull grey (metallic gel pen never scans well) and it changed how the entire piece looked so I ended up going over it with a reddish Chartpak marker to try and keep the colour scheme.It was a trick to get even the permanent ink to stick but I was persistent. The dog is also in metallic gel pen (silver) but it doesn't really show as well in the scan.

Prismacolor markers, one Chartpak marker, coloured pencils, pen, and gel pen, 8.5x11".
